Mandla Madikizela, a busker all the way from Hambanathi in Tongaat, you will usually find him at King Shaka International Airport. He is one of the buskers whose income was affected by the pandemic (COVID-19), as they couldn’t make a living.
“Busking for me is more about the love and not the money, that is why I say follow passion and the money will follow. With that being said I follow my passion which is entertaining people through busking and that how the money follows me, that is how I make my business too. I almost gave up when the country was on total shutdown but KUMISA gave me hope, they reminded me how important my job/business is, and I began to see beyond COVID-19” – Mandla Madikizela
