The primary role of KUMISA as an industry cluster is to support the development of the KwaZulu-Natal music sector through strategic partnerships with government, the private sector, and key industry organisations with the aim of bridging knowledge & skills gaps among music SMME's in the province, ensuring relevant legislation is applied effectively, as well as providing market access and ensuring a positive flow of economic activity for its members.
